I'm a hands-on IT Professional with over 35 years’ experience and a proven record of success that gets results. My specialized education and uncompromising work ethic compliment technical expertise, problem solving and attention to detail in all facets of Information Technology.
I first learned about computers and networked data systems in the U.S. Navy. Over my 20 year Navy career, I attended some of the most advanced technical training on computer, server and network systems, as well as proper troubleshooting and problem diagnosis. This included the respected U.S. Government school on computer and network security. As the technology has changed and advanced, I have stayed current through training, certifications and hands-on job experience. I have risen through the ranks, both in the military and in the civilian world, to build, integrate, manage and administer these complex networks and data systems.
I specialize in Small Businesses IT Consulting and Services, consisting of Microsoft networks of any size from your home office to the medium sized business. I started building custom PC's early in my career and can handle anything from the oldest computer in the office, to today's high end data center servers, virtual servers, networked data storage, backup and recovery. Advanced Cisco networking courses honed my skills in network design, infrastructure and connectivity. These were complimented by Microsoft courses and certifications up to and including MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and MCSA, (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator). I completed additional courses in Group Policy, including advanced master courses from the well renouned Jeremy Moskowitz, one of fewer than a dozen Microsoft MVPs in Group Policy in the world. Malware removal, HIPAA Security, Meaningful Use and Security Risk Assessments are just some of my other current skills.
I have been extremely successful in not only bringing in IT projects on time, but also under budget. At one small business, I enabled them to generate an additional $9.3 Million dollars from their call center the very first year with network improvements I implemented.
